Sathya Callender is the mother of five beautiful children, a Domestic Violence Advocate, Overcomer of Domestic Abuse, motivational speaker, and multi-streamed entrepreneur. Sathya has lived a life full of change, trial and tribulation. She grew up without a father, watched her mother being abused, became a teen mom, lived in a shelter, was in bondage of an abuser and became a single mother of four children. She is a woman of faith who believes that she has been divinely protected by God. She knew through it all that he had a plan, a plan for her to be set free, to survive, and then overcome everything she thought would destroy her. She knows she was meant to walk in her purpose, her love and her passion to now encourage, empower, and inspire other women to not only survive but to also overcome and know that God is a healer and will never leave or forsake them.
Sathya is a voice for the voiceless and the Director/Founder of Scars of Survival, founded October 2016. Scars of Survival is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to helping victims and survivors of Domestic Violence transform their lives to become thrivers. Sathya also founded Scars of Survival Magazine LLC, a publication focused on bringing continued awareness to abuse and helping individuals to heal, survive, and overcome domestic violence. The mission is to show survivors how to love, trust, have faith, and build hope again.
